The Virginia National Guard will host four holiday celebrations, featuring live performances from the 29th Army Band, across the commonwealth for the families of Virginia National Guardsmen. The public is invited to attend.

The Virginia National Guard would like to show their appreciation to the families and communities who support local Guardsmen and celebrate the positive contributions the families, Guardsmen and communities make toward the Commonwealth.

Maj. Gen. Robert Newman, Jr., the Adjutant General of Virginia, and his wife will attend each event.

All performances start at 7:30 p.m. and are scheduled to last approximately one hour. Following the performance, the churches will provide a reception for Guard families which will include a visit from Santa Claus, a chance to send video messages to Guardsmen serving overseas, refreshments and crafts.
